Davidson Community Foundation Support
UPDATE: On Monday, May 4, 2020, the Davidson Community Foundation sent a letter to the Board of Commissioners and Mayor Knox to suspend the Foundation's request for $50,000 in Town support, at this time, for the Emergency Fund. You may view the letter here.
The poll will remain open as a data point but consideration for funding the Davidson Community Foundation will be removed from the May 12, 2020 Board of Commissioners agenda. Thank you to everyone who has participated or will continue to participate.
The Davidson Community Foundation awarded the first Non-Profit Emergency Fund Grants on April 30, 2020. More information available here.
The Town of Davidson Board of Commissioners is asking residents whether or not the town should support the Davidson Community Foundation with a one-time donation of $50,000 for COVID-19 relief in our community. The foundation plans to use these funds to support families in need impacted by COVID-19 in our town.
