Davidson claims to be a progressive city. The hypocrisy in this is disgusting. I am appalled that "Roosevelt Wilson" park continues the name. Roosevelt Wilson Park is not named after Woodrow Wilson, but rather after a man named Roosevelt Wilson himself, who served as the gardener for the Town of Davidson for about 50 years. The park in town was named in recognition of his longtime service to our community.

The town’s name of Davidson snd the college need to be changed. It was named for a confederate leader. This should be the top goal
